Our Story
Christ alive —
in this region.
Live IT Toledo exists to gather what is already alive in Northwest Ohio: prayer, worship, formation, service, family life, faithful businesses, and the daily invitation to follow Jesus Christ.
Image the Trinity. (Get IT?)
The Christian life is communion. A community becomes a small image of the Trinity when its people know one another, pray for one another, and carry one another.
The Mission
Faith is never merely private.
In Christ, we are made members of one Body, sent together for the life of the world. Live IT Toledo is a daily gathering place — a living regional hearth — where prayer is lifted, needs are met, events are found, businesses are supported, and the Heart of Christ continues to seek the lost.
“The community of believers was of one heart and mind.”
Acts 4:32Not an extracurricular form of Christianity. A picture of believers belonging to Christ — and therefore to one another.
"Do not be afraid to bring Christ
into the heart of this community."
We are building this with you
Built person by person.
Live IT Toledo is a small, independent lay initiative — not a program, not an institution, not an app. It is being built slowly, by Catholic neighbors, for Catholic neighbors. What you see here is genuinely a first season: imperfect, real, and shaped week by week by the people who use it.
If something is missing, tell us. If a parish, a gathering, or a faithful business should be here, send it in. The movement is ours together — yours and ours — or it is nothing at all.
How a life unfolds
Pray Daily. Journey Together. Overflow.
Not steps to complete, but a way of life rooted in Christ and shared with one another.
Pray Daily
Christ first. Begin with the Gospel and a few honest minutes of prayer.
Journey Together
Faith grows in company — real people, shared life, the same Word, prayer and friendship.
Overflow
What we receive, we carry into marriage, family, work, mercy, invitation and mission.
What you'll find here
A daily gathering place — for the whole region.
Five doorways into one mission. Each is an invitation to step further in.
A word from the Fathers
"The glory of God
is man fully alive."
Northwest Ohio
This is our home.
Not an internet project. A living region — the Maumee, our parishes, our schools, our businesses, our shared streets — and the people God has placed here together.
Toledo. Sylvania. Perrysburg. Maumee. Bowling Green. Findlay. Every parish and every home in between.
In Fidelity to the Church
Independent in governance.
Faithful in doctrine.
Joyful in mission.
Live IT Toledo was founded as an independent lay initiative dedicated to strengthening prayer, formation, service, evangelization, and Catholic community throughout Northwest Ohio. Rooted in fidelity to the Magisterium and inspired by the call of the New Evangelization, our mission is to help make visible the living presence of Christ through His Church and His people in this region.
While Live IT Toledo seeks to serve and support the broader mission of the Church, it is not an official ministry, publication, or communications organ of the Diocese of Toledo.
Come and see.
There is a place for you in what God is doing here — quietly, in this region, among these neighbors.
Or sit with neighbors — find a LIT Group near you.
Or help build it — build with us.
