Community Needs

The needs of our neighbors belong to all of us.

A casserole at the door. A ride to Mass. A visit for a widow who has not been visited. This is how the Church has carried her own from the beginning — and how we still mean to carry one another now.

Every parish has them — the families in crisis, the elderly who can no longer drive, the mother working three jobs, the friend whose grief is too quiet to ask for help. The Gospel does not let us look away. It tells us, plainly, that Christ is hidden inside every one of these neighbors.

We are preparing this space carefully — with the discretion, moderation, and pastoral care that vulnerable neighbors deserve. When it opens, it will be a small, trustworthy way to share a need and a small, trustworthy way to serve.

Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Matthew 25:40

What this space will hold:

  • Meals for families in crisis
  • Rides to Mass and appointments
  • Moving help and small repairs
  • Visits for the homebound and elderly
  • Help during a hard week at home
  • Discreet, dignified relief in private trouble

Until then, a need can still be shared privately — and a name can still be lifted in prayer. The Body of Christ does not wait for a launch date to begin carrying one another.

In the meantime

Share a need privately. Or lift one in prayer.

Write to us with the name and the burden, and we will help connect it to people who can serve. Anything you send is held in confidence.
